1 / What time can we check in to our accommodation at Walcot?

Check in is from 4pm on Friday 30th June

2 / What do we need to bring with us to our accommodation?

Price includes bed linen and towels, all crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking equipment. Also included is tea, instant coffee, sugar, salt and pepper, cleaning equipment and a basket of wood for the fire. Please just bring all other food and drink you require. We would recommend bringing along any breakfast you feel you'll need before the wedding and perhaps some drinks and snacks. For those adventurous enough to take a dip in one of the beautiful natural pools, don't forget your swimwear!

3 / How do we get to Walcot Hall?

If you're using a sat nav which requires a postcode, please use SY7 8AU. This will take you to the village of Lydbury North, look out for the Powis Arms pub, which is at the entrance to the drive. Please do not use the drive marked 'Walcot Farm'. What3words: ///melon.artichoke.hydration

Walcot is in a remote location, so if you're using public transport, please plan ahead. Taxi's will need to be booked in advance. Craven arms is the nearest station.

4 / Where do we check in on arrival?

Walcot Hall is a unique place. They don't have a hotel style check in. You will be contacted in advance and given directions to your holiday cottage, so you can head straight there and get settled in

5 / Is there a shop nearby?

There's a village shop a short walk from Walcot, it's open 8.30am-12pm on a Saturday and 9am-11am on a Sunday. Bishops Castle is a 10 minute drive away and has a Co-op and Spar

6 / Can we park at the venue?

Yes, there is ample parking at the venue, clearly sign posted. if you're staying at Walcot, you will have received an email with directions of how to get to your holiday cottage and where to park

7 / I haven't booked accommodation, where can I stay?

There are still some glamping units available at Walcot Hall, you can book online at https://walcothall.com/stay/ or contact them directly via enquiries@walcothall.com

Alternatively, there are some other holiday cottages in Lydbury North bookable via booking.com or Airbnb. Bishops Castle is only a 10 minute drive away with plenty of hotel options, including the Castle Hotel

8 / When's the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by 31st May 2023. You can do this either via this website by clicking on the 'RSVP' icon or by sending your RSVP card which you received with your invitation. Alternatively, you can also send a text to 07774041554

9 / Are children welcome?

We would like our special day to be an adult only occasion

10 / What's happening on the Friday?

For all wedding day guests, we're holding a pre wedding party at The Garden House, Walcot Hall. The event will start at 6pm and will include food and drink. This will give you a great opportunity to meet each other. Don't worry, it won't be a late one!

11 / I'm invited to the evening celebrations, what time should I arrive?

All evening guests can arrive from 6pm

12 / I have a dietary restriction, what should I do?

There's an option for you to tell us about any dietary restrictions on your RSVP, please do ensure you add these in so we know
